Clovis Music Festival Announces 2022 Lineup
with 38 Special, La Maquinaria Norteña and Danny Gokey

(Clovis, New Mexico) Friday, January 21, 2022—The Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce today announced the 2022 lineup for the Clovis Music Festival, which will make its return from June 16-18, 2022. Packed with popular artists and introducing a third, additional night of music, the occasion marks the Festival’s 33rd year following a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For the first time, the weekend concerts will be held at the Curry County Events Center with food and alcohol available for purchase.

“This year’s festival is especially exciting for us,” said Ernie Kos, executive director for the Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce. “These highly anticipated concerts signify a return to the things we love, and three nights of music plus a larger venue will make this Clovis tradition greater than ever.”

The 2022 Clovis Music Festival lineup is as follows:

THURSDAY, JUNE 16 (at Legacy Church) – Danny Gokey
Chart-topping Christian artist and American Idol finalist Danny Gokey will kick off three days of musical performances at this year’s Faith & Family Night. Spawning singles like “Hope In Front of Me,” “Rise,” and RIAA Certified Gold singles “Tell Your Heart to Beat Again” and “Haven’t Seen It Yet,” Danny has cemented his place on the radio charts with multi-week, multi-chart top-ten runs in the U.S, Canada and now Latin markets with his Spanish singles.

FRIDAY, JUNE 17 – 38 Special and Roüzter
After more than four decades together, 38 Special continue to bring their signature blast of Southern Rock to over 100 cities a year. With explosive power and timeless hits immediately recognizable from the first opening chord, the band is most known for their arena-rock pop smashes, “Hold On Loosely,” “Rockin’ Into the Night,” “Caught Up in You,” “Fantasy Girl,” “If I’d Been the One,” “Back Where You Belong,” “Chain Lightnin’,” “Second Chance,” and more.

SATURDAY, JUNE 18 – La Maquinaria Norteña and La Furia del Bravo
Founded by Keith Nieto in Roswell, NM, La Maquinaria Norteña is known for its Norteño sax song style with modern and contemporary compositions. The band has been honored with two GRAMMY nominations (Best Regional Mexican album), one Latin Grammy nomination (Best Norteño album), two “Premio Lo Nuestro” nominations, and performed at the 2015 Houston Rodeo to an audience of more than 75,357. To ensure that festival operations run smoothly and guests receive the best experience possible, the Chamber is looking for volunteers and sponsors.
