Clovis Police Department Announces Cops and Kids Christmas Program

Dear Community Partner,

The holiday season is fast approaching, and the Clovis Police Department is proud to announce the return of the beloved “Cops and Kids Christmas” program.

Now in its eighteenth year, this cherished annual tradition brings smiles, hope, and holiday cheer to Clovis children and families in need. Thanks to the generosity of local businesses and community members like you, we’ve been able to make Christmas brighter for hundreds of children by providing funds to each to shop for gifts and necessities they might not otherwise have.

Our goal this year is to bring this same level of joy to at least 100 local children. In previous years, this program has been able to provide at least a $100 shopping budget for each child, and the company of an officer who helps them pick out gifts and experience the excitement of the season firsthand. For many of these families, this program is the difference between a difficult holiday and a magical one.

We are reaching out once again to ask for your support. Every contribution, whether large or small, makes a difference. Your donation directly helps local children and their families, and further strengthens the bonds of our community.

Please make checks or money orders payable to “CPOA” (Clovis Police Officers Association). Donations can be dropped off at the Clovis Police Department or mailed to:

Clovis Police Officers Association P.O. Box 141 Clovis, NM 87502-0141

Thank you for helping us keep the spirit of Christmas alive in Clovis. Your continued generosity and partnership make this program and our community shine a little brighter every year.

With gratitude,
Trevor Thron Chief of Police
