2022 Purple Pride Hall of Honor Awards Announced

The CMS Foundation and Alumni Committee have announced the Clovis High School 2022 Hall of Honor Awards. The purpose of the Hall of Honor Awards is to recognize and honor former graduates of Clovis High School whose achievements, strengths of character, and citizenship serve as models to inspire and challenge today’s students. The Foundation also gives a Top Cat Award to recognize and honor former faculty members and other individuals whose service and support of the Clovis Municipal Schools has been outstanding. The Hall of Honor resides at Clovis High School.

The 2022 CMS Foundation/Alumni Hall of Honor inductees are: Sports & Entertainment-Col. Robert Doerr (Ret.) ’68, Government & Service-Caleb Chandler ’61 and Dr. Ken Merritt ’65,  Business & Industry-Joseph Roybal ’90, and Top Cat Award-Dale Fullerton and Leslie Scroggins. The honorees will be riding in this year’s Pioneer Day Parade.

The distinguished recipients will be honored at the 2022 Hall of Honor Luncheon on June 4th, 12:30 pm, at the Clovis Civic Center, 801 Schepps Boulevard. The public is invited to this special event. Tickets will be sold at the G.C. Ross Administration Building, 1009 N. Main, at the Superintendent’s Office.  Individual luncheon tickets are $40, and Tables of 8 are $300. Tickets go on sale on April 18th.
