Caregiver
Key Responsibilities

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.

Support Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) including meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and errands.

Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.

Assist with medication reminders (non-clinical).

Follow clients’ care plans and document all caregiving activities as required.

Monitor and report any changes in client condition to supervisors or care coordinators.

Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for the client.

Support clients with safe transfers, ambulation, and use of mobility aids.
-
Respect client rights, privacy, and dignity at all times.
-
Adhere to the agency’s policies, procedures, and scheduling requirements.
