Full Job Description

The billing and payroll manager is responsible for executing the financial obligations of the Ashley Homestores in Clovis and Portales, NM. The responsibilities for this position include: payroll, bill pay, deposits, state sales tax, and in store customer service as required.

Responsibilities and Duties

    Ensure that all invoices and bills received are paid in full prior to their due date * Confirm time sheets and calculate earnings * Calculate commissions, draws, and bonuses * Take deposits to bank as needed * Maintain petty cash * Calculate and schedule monthly sales tax * Record transactions in Quickbooks * Help conduct store opening and closing procedures * Process sales and financing for guests, as required * Answer phones as needed

Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree * Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience * Knowledge of Quickbooks and Microsoft Office * Verbal and written communication skills * Ability to problem solve * Customer Service Skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
