Draggin' Main & Gearhead Gathering

Since the 40's draggin' Main Street has been tradition in Clovis and many other communities around the world!  In Clovis, this activity was THE social event for all high-schoolers and young adults.  This was our Facebook before there was internet!  Main Street was where boys met girls, where friends gathered to talk about everything under the sun, where street light drag races were common, where disputes were started and settled, where dates were spent, and even where people went to find parties.  This tradition went on until the early 1990's.
 
Draggin' Main was founded in 2014 by Bryan Boone and Gene Porter to have something for all of the car enthusiasts and to bring back that hometown feeling with Clovis' Historic downtown.  This project began as simple conversation amongst car buddies and grew into an exciting new adventure! As we moved forward with ideas, we began to realize how an event like this would assist downtown business owners, provide entertainment to the community, and satisfy the hunger to mingle with other car/truck/bike guys and gals.  Our eagerness and excitement turned into a challenge..."Let’s stop talking about it and start doing it!" Draggin Main was finally born!
 
We hope Draggin Main will not only be a fun event, but will carry on a tradition for the entire family!
