American Wind Week Back to School Expo

Join us for a FREE Community event Sponsored by Pattern Energy in celebration of American Wind Week at the Clovis Civic Center on Saturday, August 11.

Pattern Energy and the Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce are teaming up to celebrate American Wind Week and they have a whirlwind of activities planned at the civic center!

In 2017, wind emerged as America’s No. 1 source of renewable energy capacity. Come out the Clovis Civic Center on Saturday, August 11 from 11am until 4pm and show your support for wind energy!

Kids Go Wild will be setting up bouncing houses and a rock climbing wall out front on the patio and there will be food truck vendors and the Clovis Fire Department’s Fire Safety House will also be outside.

There will be fitness classes every hour on the half hour in the Pioneer Room (stay tuned for a schedule). The main ballroom will be filled with Back-To-School Exhibitors for shopping and non-profits with information. There will be a fashion show and other demonstrations on the Main Stage.

Merchant Kitty is offering TWO opportunities for painting classes and there will be a bike parade, and lots of prize give-a-ways!
