DESCRIPTION:Join us to examine and discuss the proposed revisions to the City Sign Ordinance. The purpose of the committee is to put together cohesive information for the City Commission to consider before they vote on the ordinance.\n\n \n\nThis committee is not in opposition to revising the ordinance or to cleaning up Clovis. However\, the ordinance revisions\, as currently written\, pose many unanswered questions. Of concern is the potential\, and unintended\, financial impact the proposed ordinance could have on land lease holders who depend on income from the leases\, existing business\, property owners\, the ability to attract new business\, financial institutions\, employment\, and even revenue for the city.\n\n\n\nThe Commission is scheduled to meet and vote on Thursday\, January 6\, 2022. Since time is of the essence\, we are proposing a meeting to gather information and concerns to provide to the Commission.
